Saskatchewan Wild Boar Reconnaissance Survey

On behalf of the Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation (SCIC), in conjunction with the Ministry of Environment, Joro conducted aerial counts for wild boar in east-central Saskatchewan. Aerial surveys were conducted throughout January of 2025, with the objective of identifying active wild boar dens and supporting SCIC’s management goal of controlling the spread of wild boar in the province within several survey blocks.
